Obituary for Paul Skopyk

September 20, 1924 - September 7, 2017
Paul Skopyk, late of Shellbrook, SK, passed away in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 92 years. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife: Helen Dahmer; sons: Don, Ron(Deb) and Richard(Joan); sister: Elsie Gryschuk; brothers: Don(Martha) and Gerald(Terri); sisters-in-law: Delia Skopyk and Angie Skopyk; and grandchildren: Josh, Jeff, Ryan and Justin. Paul was predeceased by his first wife: Stella; brothers: Mike, John, and Joe; and sister: Ann. Paul lived and taught school in Shellbrook for many years. He retired from teaching in 1980. He enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing, and travel in his retirement. He especially enjoyed spending time with his card playing buddies. He spent his final years in the Good Shepherd home in Prince Albert. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to St. Agatha's Parish (special projects) in Shellbrook, SK. A Prayer Service will take place on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 – 7:00 pm at St. Agatha's Roman Catholic Church, Shellbrook, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 – 3:00 pm at St. Agatha's Roman Catholic Church, Shellbrook, SK. Interment to follow on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Shellbrook Cemetery, Shellbrook, SK.
