Marlene Audrey Cromartie, late of Birch Hills, SK, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 13, 2018 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 71 years. Marlene will be lovingly cherished and remembered by her children: Clayton and his children Dannielle, and Reece; Candice (Vicki) and their daughter Sara; Clint (Kelly) and their children Tristan, Wyatt, Maverick, and Morgan. Her brother-in-law: Teddy Ruszkowski and his children Betty Keddy (Darren), and their sons Layton and Hayden; Brenda Felske (Owen) and their children Karsten, Keltie, Korbin and Kassia; David Ruszkowski and his children Courtney, Stacee, Logan and Kale; Marjorie Brachmann (Danny) and their children Bowin, Danya and Delaney; Joey Ruszkowski (Tina) and their children Hana and Kristopher; Melanie Ruszkowski (Jeremy). Her sister-in-law: Anne Foster and her children: Angela Stangeland (Corey) and their children Aleah, and Sarah; Anita Elsaesser(Greg) and her children Jaeden, Brea and Marlee; Jay Foster (Tiffany) and their children Gavin, and Sam, and sister-in-law Sandra Cromartie. Marlene was predeceased by her husband: Harvey; her parents: Melba and Wesley Acorn; her sister: Shirley Ruszkowski; and her brother: Lorne Acorn. Mother and Father-in-law: Muriel and William Cromartie. Marlene was the woman who made the world a better place just by being the person she was. She had the gift of kindness, compassion and generosity. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A Service of Remembrance will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 – 2:00pm at Lake Park Baptist Church, Birch Hill, SK. In lieu of other tributes, donations in memory of Marlene may be made to Winton Park Cemetery, Box 369, Birch Hills, SK, S0J 0G0
